To comply with federal and state law, and US Lacrosse insurance requirements, all coaches (head and assistant) are REQUIRED to complete at least the following…. so please plan ahead and start now!! NB: you will need your US Lacrosse membership before registering as a coach, but you can register before completing the other requirements so long as they are completed before indoor practices begin.

• US Lacrosse membership, coaches level. Please note your membership number and confirm it will be active through May 31 of the upcoming season.

  • A “Green Light” result of the US Lacrosse background check

  • Completion of US Lacrosse abuse prevention course. Included as part of coach level membership

• A State of Ohio-approved youth sports concussion training. There are a couple options: see HERE for more information.

• The State of Ohio-approved video and handout for Lindsay’s Law: see the “For Coaches” section HERE for links to both.
